Our shelter is a non-profit and we provide care to cats and dogs through donations.

Please read the many different ways you can help us! If you would like to help our animals,                      the Ponca City Humane Society would love to have your support!

Can You "Scratch" Up a Few of These Items For Us?

To help with expenses, we largely rely on our community and people like you to provide the following items. So next time you run to the store, grab an extra bottle of dish soap, or box of cat litter and drop it by 900 West Prospect! Please check this page frequently, as we will always state what we are running lowest in.

Donate Online

It's never too late to make a contribution to your favorite shelter: The Ponca City Humane Society! You can always drop a donation off at the shelter or any of our events, however, if you'd rather make your contribution online, you can use PayPall's secure, online system to make a donation directly to help us! This option is located on the top left-hand side of your screen on each page. 

Monthly Business Sponsors

We encourage the local businesses around Ponca City to "Sponsor the Shelter" for one month. During that month we place our banner outside their location and their banner outside ours. As a personal thank you, a plaque naming them Sponsor of the Month will hang in our lobby and that business will be recognized every week for their sponsored month in our newspaper ad as well as on our website!

Kennel Sponsorships

We are excited to announce our Kennel Sponsorships have officially taken off at the 2011 Home for the Holidays! Currently 14 Dog Kennels and 5 Cat Kennels are being sponsored by supporting businesses and individuals. 

Each kennel at our shelter can be sponsored for 6 month or 1 year terms. Every sponsor receives a plaque on their designated kennel. Kennel's are a perfect way to shine light on a memorial, an individual, a business, or even a pet!

Sponsor a Pet 

Sponsoring a Pet covers the financial burden of getting that animal through the doors at our shelter. Pet Sponsors are recognized on that animals kennel and given naming rights while that animal is in our shelter! Can you think of a better way to save a life?!

How Donations Help

The financial donations collected from our supporters help us continue to operate in every way. We use these funds to feed, spay/neuter, and vaccinate the animals coming into the shelter, as well as keep them warm and safe with proper housing and facility upkeep. 100 percent of your donation directly benefits the continuation of our shelter and the saving of animals in the community.
